Third-party video in Google search results

One crucial issue raised by Google's purchase of YouTube and the subsequent inclusion of YouTube video clips in the main Google search results was whether or at least when other video content providers and aggregators would be included, too.

Failing to include the rest while indexing YouTube would have raised a serious conflict of interest, in that Google would be favouring its own video service over others.

That issue seems to have been resolved. See this screen shot of a search for Yakitori that returns a video clip from the how-to aggregator, VideoJug (who are presumably seeing an upsurge in traffic).
